Thomas Solutions Incorporated is looking for qualified Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) instructors to provide the United States Full Spectrum SERE Level C course instructional support. The SERE instructors will assist the SERE program fulfill their mission, to ensure each student graduates with the confidence and appropriate proficiency level to employ SERE and individual Personnel Recovery (PR) tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) necessary to survive regardless of the circumstance of isolation.

The position is located at Fort Rucker, Alabama.

Position requires an active SECRET clearance.

All SERE Instructor Position Require the Following Qualifications:

• Full spectrum SERE-C graduate, to include Wartime, Peacetime Governmental Detention(PGD) and Hostage Detention (HD) training.
• This can be accomplished by either graduating from a DOD course that combines all three training requirements or having graduated from separate courses that trains these skillsets.
• Meet physical fitness requirements specific for the position to include passing drug /alcohol screening
• Must pass a SERE Human Factors Psychological Test
• Any government approved DoD Instructor Training Course (ITC) or equivalent course

Responsibilities

SERE Instructors provide subject matter expertise-based training to students attending the U.S. Army SERE School in accordance with regulatory requirements and established programs of instruction.

Preferred:

• 2 years’ experience as SERE Level C instructor
• A valid Class C Commercial Driver's License, with HAZMAT endorsement,

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

• Survival Instructor: 1 year (Preferred)
• Evasion Instructor: 1 year (Preferred)
• Escape Instructor: 1 year (Preferred)
• Resistance Instructor: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Hostage Detention (HD) training Certificate (Preferred)
• DoD Instructor Training Course (ITC)/equivalent course (Preferred)
• Full spectrum SERE Level C graduate (Preferred)
• Wartime,Peacetime Governmental Detention (PGD) Certificate (Preferred)

Security clearance:

• Secret (Preferred)
