Starting Salary : $12.50 plus tips

Position Details: Campfire Adirondack Grill is seeking friendly, honest, and trustworthy servers who will engage our guests while providing first-class service at our restaurant. Campfire is located inside the historic Hotel Saranac in the heart of the beautiful Adirondack region. Servers are responsible for taking orders and delivering them to our guests maintaining and enhancing the quality of our customer service. Servers will work in close collaboration with colleagues and follow established health and safety standards. The goal is to accelerate our business development by providing customers with a memorable experience. If you can multi-task, move like lightning and thrive in a fast-paced environment this is the place for you! Weekend availability is essential.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order

• Attend to customers upon their arrival

• Present restaurant menus and help customers in their choosing of food/beverages

• Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products

• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff

• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive/uplifting attitude

• Issue bills and accept payment

• Promote dedication from customers

Minimum Requirements:

• 1-2 years prior service experience

• Regularly lift and carry 40 pounds.

• Customer-oriented approach and patience

• Problem solving and quick decision-making ability

• Hands on experience in cashier duties

• Maintain TIPS certification

• Must be able to speak fluent English and communicate with guest and fellow co-workers

• High school diploma; food and beverage safety training will be considered a plus
