Olney Station, a new full-service concept restaurant, is looking to build its team. If you are energetic, friendly, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, we are looking for you! We are currently looking for Servers.
Overview:
Our Servers will be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences, so it is crucial that our Servers take pride in providing attentive, friendly and clean/sanitary service that ensures for the best customer experience and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer services.
- Greet customers and present menus.
- Make meal suggestions based on their preferences.
- Take and serve food/drinks orders.
- Up-sell when appropriate.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner.
- Keep tables clean and tidy at all times.
- Deliver checks and collect payments.
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff.
- Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.
- Meets the needs of the operation by assisting in any area requested by the management team.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a server in a full-service restaurant is preferred, but not required.
- Flexibility to work including weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- The ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and continuously bend, reach and twist; you’re constantly on the move.
