Job Summary
Provides administrative support to the service and repair technicians as well as management. Assists with the day-to-day operation of the repair department.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Enters estimates and orders for repairs then notifies customers of estimates or service charges accordingly.
- Assists customers, sales team, and technicians with parts and equipment repair inquiries.
- Maintains the scheduling of technicians for repairs while managing the tracking of repairs.
- Provides ongoing training for internal systems (parts ordering and inventory control) as needed to repair technicians.
- Ensures the parts inventory is up to date and eliminates the stocking of parts no longer being sold.
- Assists with increasing technician labor utilization.

- Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
- Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally, 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
