Salary Range: $125K - $150K
Experience: 5-10 years as a Service Manager for medium to large HVAC/Mechanical service team (Our team has 155 technicians and we are considered one of the largest in Houston)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Service Manager
- Truck Purchasing
- Fleet management-Truck Repair and Expense Monitoring
- Tool Purchasing
- Evaluate all capital tool expenditures, determine requirements and ROI considerations
- Phone Purchasing and usage monitoring
- Fuel Usage Monitoring
- Understanding of as 400 in detail and help in streamlining
- IT issues for service and help Jason and rick’s replacement with IT issues
- Help with supervision of Controls
- Purchasing uniforms, hats ,etc. (2 party approval or approval of board)
- Coordinator supervision
- Technician Issues
- Reviews, Raises, Gripes, etc.
- Technician Recruiting, Interviewing, Hiring, “On-Boarding”
- Technician Training Matrix
- Schedule Technician Training
- Review technician schedules to assure completion of service inspections. Generate service pull through reports and revenue generation reports from inspections.
- Generate Monthly reports for completion and execution of maintenance agreements by technicians.
- Review technician inspection report completion and evaluate technician on quality and “on time completion” of the inspection reports.
- Review monthly individual technician tool charges. Evaluate current replacements and future additions as required to keep tools in proper working order.
- Review technician monthly fuel reports vs. typical consumption and usage. Determine corrective actions if any required. Review monthly usage vs. time sheets and time reporting for unauthorized company vehicle usage.
- Generate comprehensive technician assessment program to determine technician education requirements and ongoing progress. Determine point for termination of technicians when education and counseling does not produce required improvements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
