Job description
SFX is seeking an onsite Service Technician with experience with printers, inserters, and metering equipment.
The Service Technician will:
- Work in conjunction with our equipment vendor service technicians to provide an onsite hybrid model to servicing our equipment
- Proactively schedule and perform preventative maintenance
- Trouble-shoot reported problems in a timely manner
- Proactively monitor, schedule, and prioritize tasks to maximize exceptional output
- Plan and perform equipment upgrades and new installations
- Manage service tickets with the ability to prioritize and communicate effectively with staff
- Monitor Inventory of consumable and other parts required to be on site
Your background:
As the onsite Service Technician you have:
- A minimum of 5 years experience trouble-shooting and repairing complex mechanical and electronic equipment.
- Strong experience working on printing/inserting/metering equipment
- The ability to perform frequent lifting and/or moving items up to 50lbs.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and/or different shifts as needed with minimal notice
Knowledge of some or all of the following brands is preferred
- Pitney Bowes or Bluecrest Mail MSE, Rival or other Inserters
- Riso Printers
- Flood Coaters, Folders, tabbers, meters
- Kirk Rudy equipment
