Powerhouse sells boilers and rents portable boiler units. Service technician’s start-up rental units at customer sites and troubleshoot issues related to boiler operation. Powerhouse also sells boiler service work so technicians, provides warranty work and emergency boiler repairs. While this position's primary focus is to to work in the shop maintenance area test firing rental units, we are looking for someone also willing to travel and assist in the field as needed. Service technicians may travel overnight at company expense. Must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends and be on-call. Premium pay is provided for off hours work.

Responsibilities:

• Hydronic/Boiler systems diagnostics, repair and installations
• Combustion analysis
• Navigate the PLC programs to troubleshoot any upsets, generate programming changes
• Create simple programs for programmable logic controllers; installs and troubleshoots programmable logic controllers.
• Lead machinery trouble-shooting; documents repairs made
• Replace or repair defective parts
• Provide preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting services for packaged boiler systems
• Disassemble malfunctioning equipment; examines and test mechanisms on boiler room equipment
• Knowledge of Plumbing and Mechanical codes
• Job documentation through field software
• Maintain a clean and organized service van and jobsite
• On Call rotation
• Participation in training classes both in-house and industry held
