Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated ServiceNow System Administrator to join our team to support our government clients. In this remote role, the candidate can be located anywhere in the United States. This multi-faceted opportunity is a leadership role on our ServiceNow capability team that is growing and provides room for creativity and growth for a dynamic and exciting career path.

The ServiceNow System Administrator works in collaboration with teams across the business to support clients looking for creative solutions! As a ServiceNow System Administrator you will work on full ServiceNow System development lifecycle process that translates business requirements into functioning software systems, services and solutions.

Job Responsibilities

As a ServiceNow System Administrator you will:

  • Be responsible for the configuration and administration of solutions within the ServiceNow environment
  • Work with stakeholders to design, configure, test, document, and deploy system changes to the environment
  • Be the primary resource for ensuring system health
  • Provide technical insight in designing and supporting ServiceNow while aligning to Service Management standard methodologies
  • Configure, customize, script, and develop the ServiceNow platform
  • Gather specifications from service owners, document requirements, and deliver product releases to meet business needs
  • Build workflows from service owner requirements including requests, request items and tasks
  • Design and build integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration
  • Install and utilize MID servers, web services, email and other relevant technology to integrate tools with the ServiceNow platform
  • Create views and reports as needed to illustrate service performance and demonstrate business value

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance
  • Overall 5+ Years of experience in IT, with 2+ Years of experience in handling ServiceNow systems administration
  • Experience with SOAP and REST API development
  • Active in the ServiceNow community, including having attended Knowledge events, user group meetings, and participating on discussions in the ServiceNow online forums
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in information systems, engineering or other related field with minimum of 3 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
  • On-call availability
  • Have participated in at least two full cycle implementations of ServiceNow and experience with Release Quebec or higher
  • Ability to plan and execute upgrades and patches
  • Ability to manage update sets and import sets
  • Deep understanding of application scoping

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience in advanced administering Now Platform
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ITIL Foundations knowledge or certification
