What You Will Be Doing

Business Management:

  • Accountable for the health of the GS P&L of the professional service accounts. Ensure that the quarterly and annual revenue and gross margin goals are met or exceeded.
  • Establish executive relationships at the AMER professional service accounts and oversee governance process at accounts.
  • Own quarterly forecasting (resources & P&L advisory) and annual goal planning
  • Ensure business governance through processes and standards across book of business.
  • Manage offering lifecycle for staffing decisions for insource or outsourcing requirements.

Business Development:

  • Through direction to the GS Solutions Leader and Services Sales (SSP) leadership support large services opportunities.
  • Identify partners and create GTM plans for complementary solution offerings.
  • Work with the Services pursuit teams & Deal Structure Commercial teams for all new PS services opportunities to ensure the P&L reflects accurate cost and contract terms are achievable.
  • Drive business development strategies with Client Directors to grow existing business base.
  • Work with SSP Management on Field Messaging Service rollout and sales support.

Service Delivery:

  • Provide leadership and strategy for Client Directors, Service Delivery Management and onsite service delivery teams.
  • Through support from practice and delivery team ensure all service delivery efforts at accounts are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner exceeding program budgets.
  • Ensure Client Directors are leading project managers to drive a fully integrated service delivery framework with the Hitachi Global Delivery & Development Center (GDDC).
  • Drive a cost effective, seamless, and uniform service delivery framework with GDDC as a strategic delivery partner.

Service Development:

  • Work with Global PS and MS leadership to understand service portfolio roadmaps.
  • Provide leadership to Practice Management for field readiness for all new offerings.
  • Liaise with GS Practice leadership for all areas of new service transformation efforts and new technology.

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • Knowledge of DC Operations, ITSM, ITIL and ITO Processes.
  • PMI, ITIL or other IT certifications desired.
  • Executive persona able to operate with credibility at the "C-level", both Client side and within Hitachi Vantara.
  • 15 years of Service Management experience with a top tier SI, service provider, or fortune 500 company IT department leading a team of 100+ resources
  • Blended delivery experience in on-shore, near-shore, and off-shore models.
  • Experience leading teams of second level managers as direct reports.
  • Experience in structured Program and Project Management methodology such as PMI.
  • Ability to plan, manage risk and assess complex situations.
  • Proven ability to lead and co-ordinate multi-skilled teams, including customer, 3rd party, and Hitachi Vantara personnel.
  • Proven able to negotiate and resolve difficult customer issues to a "win/win" outcome.
  • Track record of previous success in complex or difficult environments.
  • Highly articulate and a good communicator and relationship former.
  • Ability to work in unstructured environments and fluid environments and experience of operating in changing organizations.

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected on-target-earnings for this position is:

Tier One Location OTE (including New York City and California Bay Area): $209,000 -$308,000

Tier Two Location OTE (including Colorado, Seattle, and the rest of California): $182,000 - $260,000

Tier Three Location OTE (including the rest of Washington State): $147,000 – $210,000

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara's bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
