Overview:Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of* SharePoint Developer, Intermediate. We are looking for SharePoint Developer, Intermediate* who will play an effective role on the team. The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment where they will provide expertise and guidance, including defining the projects objectives, assist in ensuring quality control and support coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver the project according to plan. The SharePoint Developer, Intermediate will play a role in client relations and satisfaction. The key to the success of this position is the successful delivery of projects and effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting project status.
Under general supervision, modifies moderately complex applications programs from detailed specification. Codes, tests, debugs, and documents and maintains those programs. Competent to work on most phases of applications programming activities, but requires instruction and guidance in phases. Note: This position does not perform systems analysis functions.

Responsibilities:
- Provide support services to develop, configure, monitor, and maintain SharePoint 2016 & SharePoint Online (or currently approved) environments and custom SharePoint applications.
- Assist with efforts to migrate from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online, including assisting with the planning of structure as well as performing the migration of content and custom SharePoint applications.
- Responsible for assisting with integration of content management structure, portals, collaboration, business process or other custom solutions; involved in planning and implementing application version upgrade releases, troubleshooting and debugging SharePoint sites and custom applications.
- Proficient in analyzing information, SharePoint architecture, and understanding business requirements.
- Possess relevant knowledge and experience in appropriate development tools for the web development in the Windows environment as well as SharePoint Server, SharePoint Online, JavaScript and JSON.
- Assist with SharePoint customization and migration projects and provide end-to-end custom application development.
- Support SharePoint/custom application project development, planning, installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of the SharePoint environment.
- Support development and maintenance of custom applications.
- Provide development, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of new products from the concept phase onward, as well as taking complex and challenging existing systems and quickly developing expertise in maintaining and enhancing them.
- Mitigate Cybersecurity risks and information breaches by establishing and sustaining compliance, governance, and cyber assurance solutions for SharePoint.
- Participate in the RMF process, when necessary, and provide applicable artifacts and hardening.
- Comply and enforce cybersecurity standards in the SharePoint environment.
- Use metadata for discovery, classification, and security best practices.
- Implement solutions to securely share information between SharePoint environments and domains.
- Ensure permission policy compliance and prevent security breaches and unauthorized access to sensitive content.
- Audit, clean-up and manage SharePoint permissions and users from a single console across all sites, site collections or farms.
- Maintain compliance, reduce risk, and take control of what organization users can do in SharePoint with policy enforcement and control configurations for access privileges, use of versioning, file upload limits, site quotas and the use of site templates to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Provide documentation for software architecture, software design and development.
- Provide development and maintenance of custom business applications.
- Support SharePoint functionality, configuration, and branding.
- Document, update, and enhance processes and procedures and provide administrative actions as needed.
- Conduct all development and testing of systems prior to migrating to production.
- Maintain third party solutions.
- Meet IAVA (Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts) requirements addressing all vulnerabilities as directed by the IAM (Information Assurance Manager).
- Support SharePoint configuration and maintain Organizational taxonomies, site collections, policies, procedures, and solutions.
- Prepare and document software (technical) requirements and specifications.
- Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.
- Write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
- Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
- Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
- Generate statistics and prepare and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines.
- Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or appearance of organizations SharePoint environments as necessary.
- Remove code script from organization web SharePoint environments as necessary.
- Coordinate with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to resolve problems with software products or company software systems.
- Design and develop highly scalable, usable, and distributed applications.
- Participate in Change Management Control and submit Request for Change in accordance with CBC G-6 policy.
- Track responsible tasks using Azure DevOps or current system.
- Review the assigned branch’s service tickets and respond accordingly using the metrics provided in the PWS.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS or AA/AS degree with 5+ years experience.
- Minimum requirement is a HS diploma and 7+ years experience.
- IAT-II DoDI 8570.01-M baseline certification – (i.e. CISSP or Security+).
- Active Secret clearance.
- Experience providing support services to develop, configure, monitor, and maintain SharePoint 2016 & SharePoint Online environments and custom applications.
- Experience supporting integration, content management structure, portals, collaboration, business process or other solutions.
- Experience in assisting with software version upgrade releases, troubleshooting and debugging SharePoint sites and custom applications.
- Proficient in analyzing information, SharePoint architecture and understand business requirements.
- Possess relevant knowledge and experience in appropriate development tools for the web development in the Windows environment as well as Azure DevOps, IIS, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, JavaScript, JSON and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Framework (SPFx) as well as Azure microservices is a plus but not a requirement.
- Experience contributing to SharePoint customization projects and provide end-to-end enterprise SharePoint development.
- Experience supporting SharePoint project design, development, planning, installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of the SharePoint environment.
- Experience mitigating Cybersecurity risks and information breaches through establishing and sustaining compliance, governance, and cyber assurance solutions for SharePoint.
- Experience with the RMF process and providing applicable artifacts and hardening.

- Experience maintaining and documenting all configuration changes made and configuring and maintaining Organizational taxonomies, site collections, policies, procedures, and solutions.
- Experience supporting conceptualization and building of new software designs.
- Experience conducting research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards and recommending, scheduling, and performing software improvements and upgrades.
- Experience running and monitoring software performance tests on new and existing programs
- Experience administering critical analysis of test results and delivering solutions
- Experience generating statistics, and preparing and writing reports
- Experience developing usable applications using Microsoft technologies.
- Experience supporting Change Management Control and submitting Requests for Change
