PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Carlos Bakery Shift Lead, it is your role to ensure a positive customer experience by being the leading example to your co-workers. Being professional, a team player and showing a cooperative spirit to motivate the staff to providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Arrive to work promptly and in full uniform on your scheduled shift
● Greet every customers and ensure they are being taken care of according to company standards
● Ability to resolve customer issues quick and efficiently
● Ensure the work areas and store overall looks presentable, clean and setup according to company standards at all times
● Ensure product quality by checking freshness, rotating products, and removing out-of-date products
● Make sure the HACCP logs are being filled out the correctly and on time daily
● Help ensure the P.O.’s are being executed in a timely manner daily
● Study our product list and be knowledgeable to explain to customers and co-workers
● Package, weigh, and price all baked goods & merchandise according to standards
● Be an expert at all stations for service. I.e.-hosting, selling, boxing, coffee service, etc.
● Abide by company policy with respect to dress code: hair properly tied back with hairnet.
● Follow our cash handling procedures when using the POS to process customer orders
● Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices
● Ensure that all shelves and displays are properly stocked, front-facing, and up to standards
● Maintain back box and daily operational stock in good working order
● Answer telephone calls with excellent phone etiquette and transfer the call according to appropriate department
● Operate and sanitize all Bakery equipment in a safe and proper manner
● Cleaning implantation at end of your shift and whenever the storefront is slow
● Maintain open communication with your supervisors and coworkers regarding any issues or specials that may arise
● Preform inventory management utilizing inventory system
● Preform in store walk through internal audits
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
● Experience in a customer focused work environment is required
● Food service and hospitality experience is preferred
● High school diploma or equivalent is required
● Experience working in a busy environment
● High energy and engaging personality
● Professional demeanor
● Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time (8+ hours a day)
● Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
