Machine Shop in San Marcos looking for Shift Lead/Setup Tech

Main job duty: Utilize CNC controlled lasers to cut electronic parts for Aerospace, Medical, and Military.

Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Pay: DOE

Key Skills:

Must thrive in a quick pace environment and be able to meet deadlines.

Will be part of engineering team.

Will need to be able to diagram a square wave and label on time/off time and duty cycle.

Excellent manual dexterity required as well as an eye for visual quality and small features

Knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with a good understanding of shop math

Advanced Windows PC or Linux skills a plus

Understand laser controls

Responsibilities:

Responsible for loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements

Study and interpret drawings, manuals, specifications, or Job Travelers to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements

Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjust machine, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to insure quality of production. Report all machine malfunctions to immediate supervisor
