Job description

Ship products including books, collectibles and jewelry. This includes printing packing slips, picking products, packing, weighing, creating shipping labels and sealing packages. Position will also assemble boxes and put cardboard through machine for packing materials. This position also pulls inventory and other duties as assigned.

This position works independently with a supervisor available for questions and assistance. Full training is provided. This position works in a small, relaxed welcoming environment.

We are looking for someone who is able to take initiative in the job and ensure quality packing and attention to detail.

We need our shipping clerk to begin work in the mornings (start between 7-8am) and work 32 hours a week, Monday-Friday.

1. Meet shipping goals.

2. Use software to generate packing slips to print and pick inventory.

3. Be accurate with picking the right products.

4. Pack items safely to minimize damage in shipping.

5. Be able to double check correct item, box size, shipping address, etc. are correct

6. Be quick and accurate.

7. Keep area stocked, clean and ready for shipping at any time.

8. Must follow shipping guidelines as directed.

9. Computer and typing knowledge is essential.

10. Must be efficient, effective and accurate in performing daily duties.

11. Must work well with a diverse team.

12. Be able to lift heavy and/or awkward items.

13. Act as a role model by appropriate dress, attitude and professionalism.

Must be able to pass a background check
