Legacy Supply Chain is hiring a Shipping Associate to support our Mt. Juliet operation. As a Shipping Associate, you will be responsible for load materials and products onto or from pallets into trucks by hand or with forklifts. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Monday through Friday – 6:00am to 2:30pm; starting pay rate $18.00 per hour.
- Monday through Friday – 3:00pm to 11:30pm; starting pay rate $18.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift differential.
What should I expect as a Shipping Associate?
- Verify that each customer order is complete.
- Assemble cartons to contain products.
- Attach packing lists to materials, pallets, or other containers.
- Load materials and products onto or from pallets into trucks by hand or with forklifts.
- Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, padding, or wrapping to prevent shifting or damage in transit.

What are we looking for in a Shipping Associate?
- Ability to properly use material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and reach trucks as required in a manner supporting all safety rules and procedures.
- Efficiency with WMS and related software.
- Entry level understanding of basic computer keyboarding required in order to operate in our paperless Legacy Connect environment.
- Must be able to operate an electronic scanner.
- Knowledge of all general office equipment to include phone, computer, copiers, fax, etc.
