Social Media Content Creator - Marketing
Job description
The YMCA of the Fox Cities is seeking a creative individual to join our Marketing team as a Social Media Content Creator! This person will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the Association’s social media platforms to increase brand awareness, improve marketing campaigns and programs, and influence value across the organization.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assists in development of social media strategy and vision to continually refine the Association’s online social presence.
- Assists in creating, editing, publishing and sharing engaging social media content daily – from original copy to photos, videos and news.
- Communicate with followers, respond to inquiries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.
- Assists in maintaining the website and blog content.
- Assists in compiling data analysis to report key information to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with marketing team and creative staff from concept development to delivery of final product.
- Maintain knowledge on current technologies, trends, and guidelines in social media, design tools, and applications.
- Assist in creating advertising campaigns internally.
- Supports events through photography and videography including editing.

This position will be approximately 28 hours/week; flexible scheduling Monday-Friday.
A minimum of two years of experience in communications and social media marketing; non-profit experience is a preferred. Experience with social media content creation and blog management. Understanding of inbound marketing and marketing automation, with the ability to optimize content for SEO and digital marketing channels. We are seeking an individual who is creative, has excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to exercise effective, independent judgement and innovation in identifying, proposing and execution of business solutions and process improvement recommendations.
