Essential Functions:

• Participates in designing, developing, troubleshooting, and analyzing software programs for new and existing systems.
• Develops/modifies documentation of new or existing program, as required.
• Conduct/support complex Level 1, 2, and 3 testing to qualify systems for Range operations.
• Provides feedback and reports to management on the status of each project supporting.
• Leads technical proposals as well as software maintenance release efforts including estimating, planning, and scheduling.
• Supports the efforts of all technical support personnel for assigned projects.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• This position requires US Citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer related information.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) field.
• Minimum of two (2) or more years of experience in software engineering, or related.
• The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission.
• Experience working with Windows and Linux (RedHat and GNU) based computer systems and components.
• Experience working with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).
• Experience working with design and coding languages.
• Current Security+ CE certification or ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of start date.
• Some travel may be required (less than 10%).
• The ability to lift 30 lbs.

DESIRED:

• Experience working with virtualized systems (VMware).

WORK LOCATION:

This position is located onsite; no hybrid or remote working will be available for this position.

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED:
