We are seeking a full-stack engineer with proven experience building industrial-grade web apps to scale our software platform. Our software stack includes React / Rails / Postgres.

What You'll Do – Immediate

  • Take ownership of Ruby on Rails-based backend development and architecture, making customer-centric decisions on design of database and API
  • Work with product team to manage the scope, timing, and implementation of engineering work
  • Work with leaders to build world-class engineering culture at Euclid, defining best practices and processes for lean software development, testing, and deployment
  • Work closely with the services and product team to learn and understand the process of renewable energy development and to bring industry-changing tools to life

What You'll Do – Long Term

  • Learn and grow your own skills, as well as teach what you know to others
  • Facilitate design and architecture of new products and tools to serve renewable energy project developers and investors through Euclid's platform
  • Continue to improve reliability and scalability of Euclid software platform as we expand our product offerings and grow our customer base

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • World-Class back-end engineering skills (MUST HAVE Ruby on Rails, API, database architecture)
  • Capable front-end engineering skills with React, Typescript, JavaScript
  • World-Class experience with, and commitment to, testing, continuous integration, security, infrastructure, and continuous deployment
  • Excellent software architecture skills in a modern API

The starting base pay for this role is between $150,000 and $180,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits.
