Researches technological trends, collaborates with industry, academic, and industrystandardization, product, and technical groups to address important technology and customer issues, and finds innovative solutions to difficult problems for midterm or longterm time frames (two years or beyond). May research to define boundaries, create proofofconcepts, or prototype new ideas.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and internship experience. Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must possess Ph.D or Masters degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering; Mathematics, Optics, Nano-Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related Scientific Discipline. -Candidate must have 1+ years of experience at least in one of the following qualifications (having more than one will be preferred): Experience in mathematics, including algebra, linear algebra, calculus, statistical packages (JMP, MATLAB) Experience Design of Experiments (DOE) Techniques. Experience in C++ Programming or Python scripting, Preferred Qualifications: 6+ months of experience in the following: Linux/Unix environments. Computational simulation. Semiconductor fabrication, Nano-Lithography. Algorithm development. Nanometrology (e.g. Scanning Electron Microscopy, Atomic Force Microscopy, etc.) Image Processing, Geometric and Fourier optics.

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
