Solar Sales Specialist

Overview:
We are a licensed NABCEP Certified, Enphase Platinum installer and a Certified Solar Professional who installs solar panels in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. With over 4,100 residential installations, our company is the largest D.C.-based solar PV developer and installer in the city. We have completed commercial contracts with the US Department of Homeland Security, the US Defense Intelligence Agency and many other corporate partners. It is our mission to make the world a more sustainable and cleaner place for residential, commercial and governement sectors - one solar installation at a time.
We are now operating in the DFW market and are adding energetic professional sales people to our Texas team. We offer our sales team a base salary, commission for each signed contract and bonuses for verified scheduled leads that are closed by other sales team members.
Responsibilities:
- Generating sales leads through telephone and door-to-door visits educating Texas homeowners on the financial and environmental benefits of going solar
- Scheduling virtual and in-home appointments
- Presenting economic evaluation and solar design to homeowner, closing sale and closing sale/obtaining signed contract
- Meet with previous clients to assist them with ongoing issues while introducing them to our robust referral program
- Meticulously manage your neighborhood territory and record interactions through multiple forms of mobile technology
- Attend events throughout the city and proudly represent our company in the community
Qualifications:
- Some college preferred
- 1-3 years sales experience
- Preferable some basic knowledge of solar PV
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Monday.com a plus)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Positive, hardworking attitude
- Strong work ethic and motivation to be the best
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Reliable mode of transportation
Must have computer basic computer skills and experience with MS Outlook. Excellent communication, presentation and demonstration skills. Ability to work independently with solid time-management and organization skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills.
