Job Title: SolutionsArchitect

Location: Herndon, VA

Citizenship: US Citizen

The Solutions Architect develops, documents, and communicates descriptive and prescriptive architectures for current and future IT systems. Supports and assists the organization to implement moderately complex technology solutions that solve business problems effectively and efficiently by architecting application-level solutions, software, environment, and/or database implementations. Works beyond routine nature of tasks utilizing a specialized knowledge and technology. Troubleshoots basic problems and recommends appropriate actions. Provides coaching to junior-level employees. Also assist in designing and developing proof of concepts to solve client’s business problem. Wiling to lead IT modernization or digital transformation initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in Information Technology
• At least 5 years of software development in JAVA (Spring or JEE experience is an advantage) or JavaScript (Angular, React, Nodejs)
• At least 3 years of experience as Software Architect
• Ability to handle complex technical environments and troubleshooting
• Experience working with Cloud architecture
• Experience working on IT Modernization or Digital Transformation initiatives
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Federal Government Security Clearance
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containers and Kubernetes
• Ability to write technical documents
• Ability to assist with providing technology solutions in response to RFI/RFQ/RFP
• Working knowledge with application servers (e.g. Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, etc.)

Job Duties:

• Creating, articulating, and positioning an innovative and compelling value proposition so that customer executives clearly realize the benefits and transformation value of system modernization initiatives.
• Delivering modern architectures such as micro services and event driven architectures using managed services and cloud native capabilities.
• Engaging with development, infrastructure, security and IT operations teams at the customer and identifying repeatable patterns and architectures for modernized systems.
• Executing and delivering onsite/ remote technical tasks with customers (solution installation and analysis of applications)
• Building high-quality technological solutions and architectures for customers.
• Providing technical assistance to support the development teams.
• Acquiring a working knowledge of new technologies and third-party applications to improve customer solutions.
• Lead technology solutioning to support proposal and business development efforts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $145,000.00 - $158,000.00 per year
