Position Summary:
Functions as a cook in all kitchen production positions. Works closely with Head Chef to help manage day to day kitchen operations. In absence of head chef - Responsible for managing inventory, food ordering, receiving, storage, production sheets, weekly retail menu, and monthly inventory reports. Oversees daily kitchen operations and staff while maintaining safe and sanitary work environment. Works closely with Dietitian to maintain patient food quality, standardized recipes for therapeutic diets and modified textures. Regularly scheduled in food production positions and overs positions in event of call-outs and short staffing. Serves as lead culinary person for planning and fulfilling catered events. Ensures that kitchen is in full compliance with all state/federal guidelines and is always inspection ready.

Education: High School Diploma/GED
Experience: 3-5 Years
Certification: ServSafe
