JOB SUMMARY:

This individual is responsible for in overseeing and managing the overall daily operations of multiple clinics as well as providing current and ongoing training and development for all Managers, Front Desk Associates and Service Providers across all clinics.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Mastering the Massage Envy sales process, becoming the area expert in implementing and demonstrating the sales process.
  • Conducting sales training, working with the Clinic Administrators and Sales Associates on managing the sales process, adhering to the Massage Envy script, and maximizing sales closing opportunities.
  • Coach sales process with clinic administrator and front desk associates, insuring that all clinics strictly adhere to the established sales process, including appointment setting, intake, handoffs, script and tools for tracking, managing and rewarding.
  • Achieve a 20% or higher companywide membership closing on average.
  • Review clinic administrators-observe and document performance of individual Sales Associates.
  • Help develop and implement strategic sales plans and report weekly/monthly sales forecasts.
  • Stay current with client needs, competition, and industry trends
  • Evaluate member accounts on a regular basis
  • Prepare and coach employees in all clinics on passing quarterly Best Visits
  • Utilize the Massage Envy Self-Paced Manager Training to get all Managers up to speed on what is required in their position from a Massage Envy standpoint
  • Host weekly and/or monthly manager discussion forums and self-development training
  • Monitor progress of this training program by implementing weekly visits to clinics to observe Manager/staff interaction. Splitting time equally between both locations.
  • Position requires full time (40 hours) in locations. At least one evening and weekend day per month.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Associate’s preferred.
  • Basic math and cash handling experience, phone and computer skills.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, integrity and a relentless commitment to clients and staff members.
  • Management, customer service and sales experience in service/retail industry.
  • Ability to identify and problem solve, set expectations and goals and delegate tasks.
  • Must be customer service oriented and able to interact professionally with members/guest, prospective clients, vendors.
  • Able to communicate up-line information to Franchise Owners and Regional Developers.
  • Proficiency in generating membership and retail sales goals and interpreting trends in sales reports.
  • Excellent trainer and motivator.
  • Must adhere to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the operation of the business, including the massage therapy and esthetician services.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with all labor and employment laws applicable to clinic employees.
  • Able to manage multiple rapidly-shifting priorities, make timely decisions, build consensus and be accountable for results.
  • Satisfactory results of background, reference and credit check is a condition of employment in this position.
  • General knowledge of services and modalities offered by Massage Envy Spa. Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
  • Must be able to use office equipment including telephones, computers, fax and copier machines.
  • Must be able to be on feet for extended period of time, bending and lifting (average 50lbs) when necessary.
