Job description
Provide administrative project support across the division of Safety Compliance to the Chief Safety and Compliance Officer as well as to the division leadership team (7 staff). Administrative project support will encompass one-time and on-going initiatives and will include implementing software, RFP process support internal communications, supporting division programming and diversity, equity, and inclusion programming support. This position will work collaboratively with the division leadership team to provide administrative and business support for special projects, many of which have impact across the University.

Provide executive support for the Chief Safety and Compliance Officer to include large-scale meeting planning, facilities arrangements, technology needs, purchasing, expense reimbursements and account reconciliations. Conduct research and recommend solutions. Gather information from a variety of sources to assist in preparing reports and presentations. Interact regularly with the highest level of the university administration, deans, elected officials, and other external leaders.

Create, update, manage and maintain websites across the division and support communications.
Provide financial and HR support across the Division of Compliance and Safety. Liaise with the ABSC to provide information, follow-up, and confirm budget accounts to utilize. Coordinate service agreements with vendors and Procurement.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associates degree and five years of high-level administrative assistant experience required. Proficient computer skills in word processing to include editing and proofreading, spreadsheets, and database maintenance required. Effective interpersonal, organizational, customer service, and communication skills required. Solid writing skills required. Demonstrated ability to balance the needs of professional staff members and able to maintain a professional manner. Demonstrated commitment to workplace diversity and inclusion.
Desirable Qualifications
Financial aptitude or support experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to apply independent judgment to refer and/or resolve sensitive and complex issues in support of ensuring a safe campus. Communicates effectively with internal and external constituents. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
