Special Education Teacher
Location: South Holland, IL
Type: Hourly, Full-Time Contract (23/24 School Year)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 23/24 school year in South Holland, IL. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, working collaboratively with other educators and parents, and providing support and guidance to students in a compassionate and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with other educators and parents to provide the best possible education for students.
- Provide support and guidance to students in a compassionate and nurturing environment.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Illinois State Teaching Certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
