Job description
JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for writing IEP’s
- Prepare, administer, grade tests and assignments to evaluate students’ progress
- Establish, set and maintain acceptable school and classroom behavior
- Knowledge of state required curriculum, content areas and instruction
- Supervise and coordinate work of Support Staff (Teacher Assistant, etc.)
- Liaison with parents and other school personnel
- Ability to understand growth, development and range of treatment needs of students
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Specialist Level I/II Credential Mild/Moderate with Autism Added Authorization, Level I/II Moderate Severe Credential
- Intern Credential or must be eligible (Must be enrolled in an established intern credential program)
