Role
The role of the SOX ITGC Audit Resource is to assist control owners and SOX internal and external auditors with the auditing activities, requests, and developing responses to audit findings (4-block). Primary focus will be in assessing ITGC effectiveness prior to SOX test by internal and external auditors
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform pre-checks of ITGCs as part of the GRC certification process to determine design and operational effectiveness prior to auditor testing. This includes IT projects impacting SOX in-scope applications, and applications that become in-scope for SOX ITGC.
- Coordinate and support auditors with SOX ITGCs as part of Honda’s SOX program.
- Ensure testing evidence are well understood by control owners and delivered as expected to the auditors.
- Assist control owners with the root cause analysis of audit findings and track remediation action plan.
- Communicate status to management in a regular basis.
- Support special projects as requested by management
