Summary of Position:
Responsible for handling all aspects of the ordering process for Sporting Goods accounts.
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Enter in orders for coop, chargebacks, and credits
• Handle all faxed orders
• Alternate incoming phone order with other sales agents
• Assist Account Managers and Director of Sales in special projects
• Help prepare for trade shows and attend them when necessary
• Maintain sales history reports for accounts
• Prepare reports for trade shows
• Work closely with rep groups on special needs
• Coordinate weekly order entry from multiple accounts through Century’s order processing system
• Maintain a consistent review of inventory and sales numbers to provide up-to-date account analysis to sales team
• Direct daily interdepartmental communications among sales staff, purchasing team, manufacturing, and warehouse teams
• Introduce product and company knowledge to potential new clients and maintain direct customer relationships
• Responsible for customer service to assist with orders, errors, account questions, billing, cancellations, etc.
• Display good work ethic
• Maintain professionalism in the work place
• Perform any other assigned proprietary duties

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills including MS Office suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in this particular field
• Ability to multi-task and work in a versatile environment
• Customer Service and phone skills
• Ability to learn and think quickly
• Energetic, outgoing, and positive attitude
• Good organization skills
• Reliable and dependable
• Team-player
• Ability to prioritize and mange time
• Sitting at desk – 90% daily
• Standing or walking – 10% daily (may require more infrequently)

• *Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED (required)
• 1-2 years of experience in a sales or customer service related position (required)
• Some college experience (preferred but not required)
• Experience in a sporting goods retail role (preferred but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
