Experience: Individuals must have a genuine love for children, and enjoy teaching and helping improve camper's skills in sports. Be able to lead and give guidance to campers 6 to 12 years old, all while keeping campers safe and having fun. Must be able to solve problems, be self-motivated, and give guidance. Be able to help the Sports Day Camp lead in tasks that need to be done to help ensure campers are having the best experience.

Be able to communicate the camper’s behavior to the Counselor Lead. Be able to arrive on time to help prep for daily activities, check in with campers and work with other counselor leads and assist counselors to ensure equipment is safely stored.

All counselors must be able to pass a background check. First Aid and CPR Training will be required for all counselors to have by the first day of camp.

Skills and Qualifications:

2 years of high school minimum

Demonstrates high energy and passion for sports

Be able to work inside and outside in different elements

Be able to lift 25 pounds

Experience working with children (ages 6-12 preferred)

16 years of age or older

Excellent communication skills

Certified in First Aid and CPR, or willing to certify prior to December 20th, 2022.

Can commit to the full 2 weeks of camp understanding weeks worked will be determined by the number of campers.
