United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry, is seeking a Sports and Fitness Director for one of their well-established clients. The Sports and Fitness Director is responsible for the development, planning, organization and implementation of programs and services for club members ages 6-18, which may include fitness, intramurals, tournaments, recreation, outdoor adventure, aquatics and other activities.

This is a direct-hire, full-time position working a 35-hour week

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1 pm-9 pm

Pay: $25/hr and generous benefits package including pension and 403(b)

Responsibilities of the Sports and Fitness Director:

• plan and create new and innovative programs that meet the needs of the community in keeping with the priority objectives, core programs and strategic plan. Develop curriculum as needed
• direct all Youth Sports and Fitness programs
• evaluations of existing programs and develop improvement plans
• implement curriculum to all necessary programs
• monitor rooms and equipment for safety, purchase new equipment and program materials
• work with staff to promote good communication of programs

Requirements of the Sports and Fitness Director:

• a 4-year degree from a state-accredited university/college
• minimum 2 years in a related field
• ability to communicate effectively with young people from diverse backgrounds ages 6-18
• demonstrate the ability to plan, conduct and supervise sports and fitness activities, including tournaments, games, challenges and special events
• strong written and verbal communication
• professional demeanor
• must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated
