Position Summary

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will leverage Freedom Forever’s evolving data environment to provide high quality analysis and data-backed recommendations for business management. As a principal Business Intelligence team member, they partner closely with leadership (technical and operations) to implement and manage a portfolio of projects that include published data visualization packages, exploratory analyses, and strategic business assessments.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities

• Evaluate business processes or scenarios, anticipate necessary requirements, and develop functional reports and analyses for senior leadership.

• Create high quality data visualizations as a key contributor to the hosted company reporting package (current platform of focus is PowerBI).
• Develop data gathering requirements with a high degree of independence.
• Carry out end-to-end business intelligence projects using the full modern BI stack (SQL, data loaders, data warehousing solutions, visualization tools).
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the expected function of business management systems and interpreting the data output of those systems.
• Serve as a full-stack Business Intelligence team member, participating in all core duties and ceremonies (attending daily standups, actively contributing to documentation library, developing advancement and improvement opportunities for the team in retrospective exercises, etc.)

• Contribute to new data models, libraries, and shared reporting packages used across the company.
• Liaise with Operations stakeholders, leaders, and internal Program Manager to develop new project opportunities and assist with ongoing qualification of new requests.

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a technical analyst.

• Strong SQL acumen
• Familiarity with SQL-based data modeling for data warehouse applications.
• Demonstrable experience with modern data visualization tools (esp. PowerBI or Tableau)
• Comfortability with analytical/statistical models
• Project/Task Management

• Experience in solar preferred but not required
• Technical troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
