Lenderworks’ mortgage services platform encompasses the areas of Secondary Marketing, Post Closing, Servicing, Compliance, Quality Control, Finance/Accounting, IT, Solutions Development and Business Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and extend the company's Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS) to meet advanced business needs.
- Develop custom software solutions that integrate with Encompass with emphasis on increasing lender productivity and enhancing the borrower experience.
- Develop integrations between Encompass and other key software solutions.
- Develop data interfaces between Lenderworks, lenders and trading partners.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Jr. Encompass Developer.
Description of Duties:
- Work with the Business Systems team to understand needs of our clients and develop Encompass-based solutions.
- Work with Lenderworks department heads to understand internal needs and develop Encompass-based solutions.
- Develop advanced custom field calculations using best practices for optimum performance.
- Write advanced business rules using Visual Basic.
- Develop advanced input forms including custom event handlers using macros and custom code.
- Work cooperatively with Lenderworks’ Microsoft Solutions Developer(s) to Develop ancillary solutions leveraging Ellie Mae’s Developer Connect RESTful APIs within a variety of technologies.
- Create data extracts per trading partner requirements (primarily servicers and investors) and assist in the establishment and ongoing support of secure transfers.
- Perform advanced Encompass administrative tasks.
- Support legacy SDK-based integration solutions and utilities.
- Assign tasks to Jr Encompass Developer, provide training and general oversight of their work.
- Provide tier 3 support to other internal support groups (Business Systems and IT help desk).
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of applications development experience
- 2 years of Encompass development including SDK and API work
- Encompass administrator or developer certification
- Knowledge of C#, .NET Core/Framework, SQL, Azure DevOps

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to be productive with minimal direction or guidance.
