Job Summary:

The Sr. Financial Analyst applies their skills and abilities they’ve developed in their finance career – their analytical mindset, data and financial modeling capabilities. They possess a pre-disposition toward relationships and business co-piloting, along with a predilection for creativity in problem solving. In particular toward key supply and sourcing strategic initiatives which are at the foundation of Saver’s growth ambitions in the years to come. What you’ll be working on:

As a member of the Supply and CPC finance team the Sr. Financial Analyst supports financial planning and performance management of Saver’s donated supply and off-stie donated goods processing organization. This organization is the backbone of Saver’s growth strategy and finance support of strategic business initiatives will be a key role of this function. This includes:

  • Uncovering actionable insights on CPC & Supply performance to support CPC & Supply execution
  • Developing and analyzing reports to aid in monthly close & financial analysis of CPC locations and Supply channels
  • Contributing to financial planning and forecasting
  • Analyzing product cost & profit margin for donated supply, and overhead costs & labor efficiencies for CPC markets
  • Delivering informative, well-organized presentations to CPC & Supply leadership
  • Partnering with accounting to standardize management reporting

About you – preferred requirements for this role

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field& solid knowledge of accounting practices
  • 5 years experience in Finance or a combination of education and experience that yields the required Finance knowledge, skills & abilities
  • 2 years of retail or manufacturing experience preferrable

· Driven & Passionate

  • Intellectual curiosity – commitment to being a thought leader in the thrift store business
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office products, including strong Excel, PowerBI, SQL
  • Effective communicator across a matrix of key stakeholders at varying levels across the organization
  • Experience with financial statements demonstrated planning and organization skills
  • Business co-piloting experience: The ability to identify problems, recommend solutions, and influence decisions with operational and financial data
  • Ability to connect complex operational metrics to financial results

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • The ability to communicate and understand the spoken word are important as well
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word
  • Ability to receive detailed information through verbal communication, and to make the discriminations in sound
  • Ability to receive detailed information visually through written communication (both physical and electronic)
