SUMMARY
The Senior Manager Planning - Repair will work with the Sales & Commercial group, Operations, and external suppliers and customers, to execute and implement the organization's resource planning and pricing requirements. This is to include overseeing pricing and bid processes, production and resource planning, and sales order scheduling and execution, to meet the company's financial and strategic goals and meet or exceed customer needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Forecast long term production and capacity requirements based on sales inputs and resource availability.
- Develop and maintain production scheduling and planning to meet and exceed customer demands.
- Manage alignment of resources for production planning, including material forecasts and logistics needs.
- Maintain and lead material purchasing and logistic strategy for business including secondhand material market.
- Oversee scrap sale bid and order processes including communicating with customers as needed.
- Drive efficiencies in fleet utilization and material turns to maximize throughput and control costs.
- Work with operations to ensure execution of production plan and adjust for actual or forecasted constraints to plan.
- Develop and oversee pricing strategy and RFQ process for business, including market research and customer habits.
- Oversee presentation of pricing models to commercial and management teams in response to customer RFQ's.
- Ensure accuracy of market indexes and manufacturing inputs used for economic and pricing analysis.
- Manage sales order group and ensure alignment to production plan and order scheduling processes.
- Communicate with commercial group and customers on production and attend customer calls as required.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- At least four years' experience managing projects or people
- Four years' experience in pricing analysis
- Three years' experience with sales preferred
