Job Responsibilities:
Product Strategy/Market Intelligence
Through an understanding of customer needs, the competitive landscape and market trends propose product innovations as well as requirements for enhancements to existing products/services. Primary responsibilities include:
- Keep pulse of relevant industry trends
- Develop comprehensive competitive assessments
- Participate in voice of customer activities, including customer advisory boards, user forums and technical interchange meetings
- Conduct market analysis for scoping segments and product value
- Create and maintain Market Requirements documents for assigned products
Product Marketing
Manage go-to-market strategies and actions for assigned segments and product categories, including:
- Define and develop differentiated value propositions for product/service
- Create and manage Go-To-Market plans that include KPI and ROI measurements
- Collaborate with Marketing Communications team to identify, prioritize and create marketing assets including web pages, data sheets, presentations, videos
- Provide support for sales enablement, demand generation spanning events, campaigns, social media programs, references and case studies, and press and analyst relations
Key Working Relationships
Manage critical relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, especially:
- Product Management
- Sales and Technical Sales
- Marketing/Corporate Communications
- Industry partners and suppliers
- End users/customers
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience OR
- In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Product Marketing experience
- 4+ years of experience in the Aviation/Airline Industry
- Prior experience with digital solutions in the airline industry
- Understanding of the latest trends and innovations within the Airline (IT) industry and relevant technology areas
- Proven history of creating effective product marketing programs
- Experience leading and influencing teams in an international matrix organization
- Articulate and effective communicator – written, verbal and in presentation settings
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
