• Experience using content publishing tools to write, format, manage, and publish technical content on the web
• Experience authoring and managing content at an enterprise level, including collaborative writing
• Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams
• Experience designing, planning, and delivering content solutions that meet the needs of technical business customers

Job summary The AWS Documentation team is looking for a senior technical writer/strategist with a minimum of eight years and who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and has strong content strategy and technical writing background. Ideally, you have a technical background that enables easy interaction with software developers and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation. As a writer-strategist, you will be responsible for planning and writing cross-service content that’s easy to use, easy to find, and easy to understand. This role requires you to think critically about the content you build—How content fits together, what content to write, how customers will use it, when they will need it, and how they will find it. You will identify content gaps and propose logical ways to fill them based on data. AWS is constantly moving and that can be one of the best parts about this job!
