STAFFING FIRM SEEKING STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Accurate Personnel is currently looking for a bright, motivated Staff Accountant to join our staffing agency in Sarasota, FL. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing general ledger entries, managing asset depreciation, and assisting in month-end close processes. The ideal Staff Accountant will hold an Accounting/Finance degree or have prior professional experience in the Accounting field. Staff Accountant Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and analyze financials for accuracy and completeness
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and ledger accounts
- Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries
- Prepare payments by assigning account numbers and auditing check runs
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits
Staff Accountant Requirements and Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or 2 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft Great Plains
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports
