What You’ll Do...
The Staff Accountant supports the Controller and the Finance team by executing processes that ensure integrity and timeliness of accounting entries and financial data. We are looking for an energetic accounting professional with the desire to be a key contributor on a small team within a fast-growing technology company.
Lead execution of day-to-day accounting processes for accounts receivable, accounts payable, expense reimbursement, payroll and other core accounting processes
Help drive the company's revenue processes by creating, sending and following up on invoices
Enter transactions into the company’s accounting system
Support the company’s month-end close process by posting journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, cash/bank reconciliations, and producing draft financial statements and related reporting in accordance with GAAP
Collaborate with the company's human resource department on payroll, payroll tax, commission and bonus calculations
Assist with the annual financial statement audit process, including statutory audits of foreign subsidiaries
Support the financial/accounting integration of acquired companies
Develop expertise in the company’s accounting system (Netsuite) and other key systems
Identify and drive potential process improvements and efficiencies

About You...

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
1-3 years of experience in accounting roles; exceptional candidates with less work experience will be considered
Working knowledge of GAAP
General ledger and month-end close experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit
Thoroughness and attention to detail
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience with Netsuite and/or Salesforce preferred
