Responsibilities:
- Prepare and record journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
- Perform month end close process including variance analysis and explanation
- Produce accurate and timely financial statements
- Assist with account reconciliations including researching and resolving issues
- Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Communicate with business partners in various departments within the organization to resolve and clarify issues related to accounting
- Participate in ad hoc accounting projects, financial analysis and reporting on an as-needed basis
- Proactively contribute to process improvement efforts
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- At least internship or 1 year of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
