Our Environmental Services (EVS) Department is hiring for a Staff Assistant! As a Staff Assistant, you will:

- Act as the lead contact for persons calling or visiting the department.

- Coordinate the appointments, meetings, and affairs of department personnel.

- Perform fundamental clerical duties such as organization of mail, filing, and the ordering of supplies

- Provide traditional administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day operation of the department

Please note: This position is onsite with a primary work location of UVM Medical Center-Main Campus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Staff Assistant performs traditional administrative functions to facilitate the efficient operation of the office. The Staff Assistant serves as the primary administrative support person for a large department or group of physicians.

EDUCATION:

Must possess an Associate Degree or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous employment in an office environment sufficient to demonstrate advanced administrative support skills.
