As a full time nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy, and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 30 hours a week primarily daytime hours. The position may be required to work some extended hours which may include some evenings and weekends as business necessitates.

About the Facility: Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital is an acute treatment facility for adults, adolescents, and children located in the Philadelphia suburb of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, on a wooded 11-acre campus. The 146-bed facility provides a safe and comfortable environment for patients suffering from mental illness and behavioral disorders. Brooke Glen provides patients and their families with the resources and support they need to address acute life crises or behavioral health disorders standing in the way of a peaceful and productive life. Its mission is to deliver high-quality, effective behavioral health services with compassion and respect for patients and their families. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and on weekends and holidays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Required Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current PA Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting is preferred but will consider the retail experience
  • Proficient computer skills using pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements:

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Covid-19 Vaccination - Full (required)
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Registry
  • ePatch
  • FBI Fingerprinting
