Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

• Prepare tax returns, tax projections, tax analysis, and wage claims
• Perform accounting services & forensic accounting investigations
• Communicate with Taxing Authorities
• Analyze tax claims
• Communicate with clients regarding tax and accounting matters

We are looking for Staff Accountant who:

• Has 3+ years experience in tax and accounting.
• Possesses strong analytical skills and is detail oriented. Demonstrates excellent writing and communication skills and can communicate complex issues in a simple, understandable format. Can problem solve to work efficiently towards successful solutions.
• Able to understand the underlying data of a General Ledger and Trial Balance and is comfortable with interpreting accounting, financial and business documents.
• Is fluent in MS Office 365 & Adobe Acrobat and comfortable with using and learning different types of business technology and accounting systems.
• Is willing to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and team members. And is able to build rapport with colleagues and networking professionals.
• Can work in a team environment and independently and has a desire to learn.

Certifications such as a CIRA, CFF, ABV or CFE and any additional experience you may have in Forensic Accounting would be a definite plus and compensated accordingly.
