We are seeking a Station Engineer/IT Administrator to join our Crain Media team, based in Searcy Arkansas!
Your role will be to maintain all RF and IT systems and networks required to keep Crain Media on the air.
Competitive pay based on experience.
Responsibilities, not limited to:
- Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
- Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
- Maintain systems and networks
- Recommend hardware and software improvements
- Track customer issues and resolutions
- Maintain the integrity of the “audio chain” from studio to the various transmitters
- Inspection and maintenance of transmitter sites
- Maintain maintenance logs
- Maintain required FCC logs
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher in a related field or minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Previous Radio Studio or RF engineering experience
- Previous experience with help Desk, PC Break/Fix, Network Administration, Systems Administration.
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently
