Job Title: STEM Education Facilitator
(Independent Contractor)
Reports To: STEM & Workforce Director
Location/Hours: Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust
Purpose: The STEM Education Facilitator will support and assist with the initiative of the STEM Boxed Kit Program.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Among the essential activities, the STEM Education Program Coordinator will:
- Coordinate and assist in all the initiatives of the STEM Boxed Kit Program.
- Provide lectures and organize project activities during online sessions
- Help participants achieve weekly goals and accomplish project objectives.
- Create a favorable environment where participants can engage with learning, key concepts, and meaningful dialogue
- Perform related program retention duties.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications & Technical Job Requirements:
Education, Training, and Experiences:
Required
- Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in education or Natural Sciences.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Teams / Zoom Meetings and similar learning management systems.
Desired
- Experience working in-class sessions of virtual modality.
- More than two years of experience managing students.
- Media content management experience.
