Overview:
CAES is seeking a Stockroom Clerk to support our Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
This professional will join our highly skilled San Jose team as we develop and manufacture advanced microwave and millimeter wave subsystems, hybrid modules and components for defense electronics customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Main Stores service in accordance with established practices and procedures to internal/external customers
- Supports all areas of the Main Stores functions
- Cycle count assigned parts and contribute in maintaining Main Stores inventory accuracy
- Receives, stores and issues materials
- Accurately inputs inventory database transactions
- Expedite material processing as needed
- Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently with good organizational skills
- Must be detailed oriented, have strong customer service skills and effective communicator
Minimum:
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)
- Has manual dexterity to handle small parts using tweezers
Preferred:
- 1 year of manual dexterity to handle small parts using tweezers
- 1-2 years of electronics stockroom experience or manufacturing experience.
- High school Graduate or GED certificate
- 1-2 years of SAP experience processing standard transactions
