SUMMARY
The Store Manager position is responsible for providing exemplary customer service as well as effectively managing staff and operations at the location. Spanish speaking is highly desirable for this store location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Communicating with and Providing Exemplary Customer Service to External and Internal Partners.
- Communicates clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Thrives on managing people intensively and to high standards.
- Uses critical thinking to improve operations and grow sales without necessarily adding people or equipment.
- Comfortable in receiving and giving fearless feedback. Challenges people to recognize and own up to shortcomings and, more importantly, to offer suggestions for both personal and group improvement.
- Understands the concept of being proactive vs. reactive. Understands that internet, email and/or texting can be either a tremendous productivity enhancer or a productivity destroyer depending on how they are used.
- Total company involvement, meaning possesses a sound understanding of overall company financials, including budgeting, sales, and expenses.
- Assists in filling Store Orders.
- Involved in the scheduling of Deliveries.
- May need to occasionally load and unload trucks.
- Assists in Store Cleaning and Product Stocking.
- Responsible for Opening and Closing Store Location
- Is a working manager. Drops management duties to assist external and internal customers when outlet or phone traffic dictates.
- Responsible for store product displays, shelf stocking, price displays/labeling, and order fulfillment for counter and phone customers.
- Responsible for generating new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner. Follow through is key and of utmost importance.
- Determine customer requirements and expectations by asking the right questions in order to recommend specific products and solutions. Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications. Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items.
- Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns.
- Prepare formal quotes for potential customer orders.
- Comfortable in using our computer operating systems for daily processes.
- Communicate immediately with purchasing when product is low or needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Completion of High School Education and/or GED Equivalency. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Candidate must have 3 years prior Retail/Customer Service Experience serving within a supervisory capacity. Must possess good oral communication skills and sound analytical skills. Ability to operate computer for data input and retrieval. Ability to operate cash register.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales invoices, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively individually and before groups of co-workers. Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBLITY
This position is responsible for managing all store staff.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
