Overview

The Credit Execution Team, part of Strategic Corporate Lending (SCL) group, is responsible for governance of Deutsche Bank’s lending portfolio as well as the management and processing of loan commitment requests from Deutsche Bank’s client base. As the Strategic Corporate Lending Governance Analyst, you will work with a broad range of industry sectors and banking products while developing your analytical skills and understanding of corporate strategy. You will be responsible for managing and processing loan requests and analyzing portfolios.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for the management and processing of loan requests from Deutsche Bank’s current and prospective clients

  • Compiling and understanding the necessary information to accurately model and price the profitability of transactions to present to the Capital Allocation Forum, addressing potential issues with Know-Your-Client adoption, Credit Risk Management, Legal, and Finance, and coordinating with the Client Service Teams (CST) and other colleagues across the Bank to ensure deadlines are met and the transactions are executed appropriately

  • Responsible for assisting SCL management in the analysis of Deutsche Bank’s lending portfolio. The analysis includes in-depth understanding and knowledge of their respective industry sectors/clients, compiling data and subsequent reporting to gain insights into the lending portfolio, to meet various audit or reporting requirements, and to provide relevant information to the CST and senior management

Skills You’ll Need

  • Undergraduate degree

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Strong Excel and data analytics skills, experience with Tableau a plus

  • Knowledge of Banking, financial markets, and banking products a plus
