Job description
JOB** $1,000 sign-on bonus. Half ($500) paid out on first paycheck. The second half ($500) paid out after 90 days of employment** Provide skilled craft labor in the maintenance and repair of asphalt or concrete related tasks by operating light and heavy equipment, and repairing and maintaining equipment. Other duties include assisting with storm clean up, special events, and setting up traffic control.Recruiting for three (3) open positions.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Operate various light and heavy construction equipment in the maintenance and repair of asphalt and concrete related tasks. Maintain the safe and efficient operation of equipment by completing regular maintenance, reporting equipment failures, and repairing or replacing worn or damaged parts. Provide operation support and complete special assignments by assisting other departments with tasks, delivering barricades for special events, assisting with storm clean up, and attending meetings.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Exerting 50-100 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, or up to 10-20 lbs. constantly.WORKING CONDITIONS: This position generally requires works in a vehicle and outdoors.
