Job description

Looking for Structural Steel Estimator. Must have 3 years experience.

The estimators role is to process all incoming requests for quotation from the plans provided by client, assuring that the quotes are completed correctly, in a timely manner, and to the plan specifications required. The Estimator must coordinate these activities with the detailing department as necessary for each project. The Estimator must be able to multitask, working on multiple projects simultaneously. Projects must be completed on time. Estimator needs to be fluent in Word and Excel. Must have good communication skills both, on the phone and in person. Willing to train fast learners.

The office-based role requires the ability to work both with extended periods of sitting and standing as well as prolonged time in front of a computer. Must be able to operate basic office equipment including phone system, fax, and copy machine. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a 20 minute break and 30 minute lunch.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $42.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
