Position Summary
The Communications Arts Teaching Assistant is responsible for assisting faculty with course instruction and delivery of Communication Arts courses. This includes assisting with preparing course syllabi, attending class, facilitating group discussions around course topics, and communicating with students.

- Communicate regularly with course professor;
- Communicate regularly with students;
- Facilitate group conversations;
- Provide formative feedback;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others;
- Managing group dynamics and supporting multiple perspectives;
- Teaching, mentoring, or similar work facilitating learning and discussion as instructed by the course professor.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures;
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
- Knowledge of or familiarity with Communication Arts and the School of Media &Design;
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA
