The W. P. Carey School of Business, Department of Information Systems is looking for a highly motivated and creative Student Services Coordinator, Senior that can coordinate multiple tasks and priorities that involve initiative, independent judgment and attention to detail. This position coordinates and assists with several aspects of our Undergraduate programs in Analytics and Information Systems, our doctoral program, our external outreach initiatives and interacts with students, staff, faculty and external constituents.
DAYS AND SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Schedule to include some evening and weekend hours.

Essential Duties
- Coordination of program activities and services for the students in all Information Systems undergraduate and doctoral programs, including announcements, petitions and transfer evaluations, program and curriculum changes, portfolio application processing, exit interviews, program assessments, problem solving, scholarships, internships, etc.
- Coordination of events including information sessions, career events, leadership events, club events, recruitment sessions, student engagement activities, etc.
- Coordination of our middle and high school STEM outreach programs; preparing reports and materials, including grade checks, survey results, assessment reporting, enrollment tracking, benchmarking, etc.
- Work with students to resolve issues or concerns to ensure ongoing satisfaction within the program
- Serve as the staff liaison to department undergraduate and doctoral committees and student clubs
- Create and maintain the marketing material and web material for our undergraduate and doctoral programs
- Serve as resource for our Executive Advisory Council and maintain the student recruitment relationship with our industry partners
- Interpret University, College and program level academic policies and procedures and inform students as appropriate
- Collaborating with other academic units and student services departments throughout the university to facilitate comprehensive student support
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND four years administrative/coordinate program experience; OR, Master's degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND two years administrative/coordinate program experience; OR, Eight years of progressively responsible administrative/ coordinate program experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications
- Evidence of a Master’s Degree in business or a related field
- Experience within a higher education environment in the following areas: student advising; business and curriculum processes; student engagement activities.
- Evidence of effective communication skills including delivering presentations in a group setting
- Experience in work that requires attention to detail and exposure to confidential records
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated knowledge of student information systems (Peoplesoft); online e-Education platform (Blackboard and/or Canvas)
- Experience with basic project management
- Experience composing, editing and proofreading written materials
